Every keychain in this collection begins with original character artwork created in-house by our artist before being adapted to the final acrylic format.

Portable artwork has different requirements from a larger stand or print. Smaller charms need stronger shapes and clearer expressions, while larger acrylic pieces leave more room for character details, colour and decorative finishes.

The hardware is considered part of the design as well. A custom character-inspired clasp creates a very different finished piece from a braided lanyard intended to work as a visible bag accessory.

That means the finished keychains are designed around how they will actually be carried rather than simply shrinking the same illustration onto a piece of acrylic.
