About This Design
Astarion has a complicated relationship with most living things. Owlbear cubs, apparently, are the exception.
This original hand-drawn artwork captures one of Baldur’s Gate 3’s most unexpectedly soft moments: the pale elf rogue who spent two centuries as a vampire spawn, sitting quietly with a creature that probably shouldn’t trust him but does anyway. It’s a fan-favorite scene that shows a gentler side of a character usually found holding a dagger.
At 29.5 × 16 inches, this extended gaming desk mat gives the full illustration room to shine. The smooth polyester fabric surface handles everyday mouse tracking, while the 3 mm non-slip rubber base keeps your keyboard and mouse setup firmly in place. Precision-stitched edges provide a clean finish and help guard against fraying over time.
Every piece of artwork is drawn in-house by our artist and produced as an independent fan-made product for BG3 players who know that even the most dramatic companion has a soft spot for something.
